How to Repair an Elevated Sandmound
Once the cause has been determined and corrected, it is time to fix the mound.
1. Remove the top cover, aggregate, piping, and enough sand to reach a point at least 3 inches below the clogged sand. The actual depth of sand removed may vary throughout the mound.
