How to Build an Elevated Sandmound Sewage Disposal System
Install the delivery line from the dosing tank to the center of the scarified area. If necessary to get the proper drain back to the dosing tank, the delivery line may be dug into the scarified soil.
It will be necessary to walk on the scarified area. Minimize the disturbance to the area by walking immediately along side the pipe. Cap the pipe to prevent debris from entering.
The delivery line is usually constructed of either 1 1/2 inch or 2 inch PVC pipe. Larger diameter pipe may be used in large community or commercial systems. Check the permit plans for the correct size to use.
