Recycle Your Cell Phones at Dingman Township

Recently a local newspaper ran an article discussing why people should recycle their cell phones and provided places that they may send their old phones.

Township residents are reminded that Dingman Township provides free cell phone recycling services.

Cell phones may be dropped off for recycling during working hours at the Township office or at the biannual Clean-up Days.

The phones are sent to a processor who tests the phones.  Working phones are sent to battered women’s shelters.  Non-working phones are recycled and processed for their components.

So, if you buy a new phone, you need not search for a place to responsibly dispose of your old.  Just drop it off at the Township and we'll take care of it for you!
